1. Acknowledgement of Risk I acknowledge that participation in HIT Boxing & MMA training, classes, sparring, open mat sessions, drills, conditioning, and related activities (collectively, “Activities”) involves inherent risks, including but not limited to bodily injury, permanent disability, paralysis, or death. I understand these risks may result from my own actions or inactions, the actions or inactions of others, the condition of the facilities, equipment, or other participants, and that not all risks can be predicted or eliminated.

2. Assumption of Risk I voluntarily choose to participate in the Activities. I knowingly and freely assume all risks, known and unknown, foreseeable and unforeseeable, arising from my participation, including risks arising from contact with other participants and use of equipment.

3. Release and Waiver of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, personal representatives, and assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue HIT Boxing & MMA, its owners, members, managers, officers, employees, contractors, instructors, agents, volunteers, affiliates, successors, and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, losses, damages, costs, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising out of or related to my participation in the Activities, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise.

4. Indemnification I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorney fees) arising out of or resulting from my participation in the Activities, breach of this agreement, or any negligent, reckless, or intentional act or omission by me.

5. Medical Condition and Treatment I represent that I am physically fit and capable of participating in the Activities. I will notify instructors of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or medications that may affect my participation. In the event of an emergency, I authorize the Released Parties to obtain medical treatment for me and agree I am responsible for all costs of such treatment.

6. Rules, Instructions, and Protective Equipment I agree to follow all gym rules, safety instructions, and the directions of instructors and staff. I understand that use of appropriate protective equipment (e.g., mouthguard, gloves, headgear) is recommended and, where required, mandatory. I accept responsibility for providing my own equipment when required.

7. Photography, Video, and Media Release I grant HIT Boxing & MMA the irrevocable right and permission to photograph, videotape, and otherwise record me during Activities and to use such recordings for marketing, promotional, educational, or other lawful purposes without compensation to me, unless I provide written notice otherwise.

8. Minor Participants If the participant is under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must sign below. By signing, the parent/guardian acknowledges the risks, consents to the minor’s participation, and agrees to be bound by the terms of this Waiver on behalf of the minor participant and the parent/guardian.

9. Governing Law and Venue This Waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which HIT Boxing & MMA operates. Any claim or legal action arising out of this Waiver or the Activities must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in that state.

10. Severability If any provision of this Waiver is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

11. Entire Agreement This Waiver constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.

Respect, Conduct, and Personal Responsibility By signing below, I agree to respect the gym facility, its staff, instructors, and fellow members. I will treat training partners with courtesy, refrain from unsportsmanlike or abusive conduct, and act in a manner that protects the safety and dignity of others and myself. I understand that failure to follow gym rules or to show respect may result in suspension or termination of membership or participation privileges.
